A true teacup is under 3 pounds when grown. These dogs need so much extra care. Even with the extra care a teacup is likely not to live a long healthy life!
Two types of breeders will use the term.
Breeder one- This breeder uses the term to sell puppies. They really don't know the meaning of the term. They most likely don't even have true teacups.
Breeder two- This breeder knows the meaning of teacup. This breeder is not breeding for healthy or show quality Chihuahuas.
